David Hockney’s Yosemite II, October 5th arrives as a Poster—where the crisp blue of the Sierra Nevada sky meets the warm ochre of autumn foliage in a scene that feels both timeless and freshly alive. The print captures a moment of quiet grandeur, where the earth’s layered colors unfold in deliberate strokes, inviting you to pause and look closer. The composition balances precision with spontaneity, as if the artist walked the path himself and let the landscape speak through his brushwork. Every shade—from the deep green of distant pines to the golden-brown of the foreground—pulls you deeper into the scene, making the wall feel like an open door to nature’s own gallery wall.
