David Hockney’s 7th April, Three Daffodils In A Bottle arrives as a poster—bright, bold, and brimming with the artist’s signature joy for everyday beauty. This is the print you reach for when you want a moment of sunshine on your wall, no matter the season outside. The daffodils, rendered in Hockney’s signature clarity, leap off the page with their golden hue, while the blue bottle they inhabit feels both ordinary and extraordinary in the same breath. It’s a quiet celebration of spring’s first blush, captured in a format that makes it as accessible as it is striking. The poster format lets you bring this intimate still life into any space without overwhelming it—just the right amount of art for a room that loves color without chaos. The daffodils’ vibrant yellow is so vivid it feels like sunlight itself, while the blue of the bottle grounds the scene in a cool, crisp contrast. Together, they create a mood that’s both lively and serene, perfect for a room that needs a little cheer without sacrificing calm. This isn’t just a print; it’s a slice of Hockney’s California-inspired world, where even the simplest subjects become extraordinary. His work belongs to the Pop Art movement, where bold colors and clean lines make art feel fresh and modern. The way Hockney lays down his colors—flat, confident, and unapologetically bright—makes this poster feel like a piece of living room decor that could have hung in a gallery. The composition is balanced, with the daffodils filling the frame just enough to draw the eye in without overwhelming it. It’s the kind of print that works as hard as it looks good, whether you’re framing it in a sunlit hallway or letting it breathe in an airy bedroom. The colors are true to the original, with no digital watering-down—just the same rich yellows and cool blues that make Hockney’s work so recognizable. The sharp detail ensures every petal and curve of the bottle is visible, making it feel like you’re holding a piece of art in your hands. Whether you’re decorating a mid-century modern apartment or a maximalist living room, this poster belongs. The golden daffodils will brighten a neutral-toned wall, while the blue bottle adds a pop of contrast against a warm backdrop. It’s the kind of print that works in small doses—think above a console table in a study or alongside a gallery wall in a bedroom. A gift for an art lover? This poster is it. It’s thoughtful, timeless, and speaks to someone who appreciates beauty in everyday things. It’s also the perfect addition to a new home, a wedding gift, or a celebratory anniversary present—something that says, “I see the world the way you do.” This isn’t just wall art; it’s a conversation starter, a quiet uplift, and a genuine piece of David Hockney’s legacy reproduced for your home. When you hang it, you’re not just decorating—you’re inviting a little more light, a little more joy, into your space. And that’s worth collecting.
